Suntron Corporation Automates Material Procurement, Supplier Collaboration
FusionOps' solution selected to streamline flow, control of materials by improving efficiency and buyer productivity

Phoenix, AZ and Sunnyvale, CA — June 24, 2008 — Suntron Corporation, a provider of integrated electronics manufacturing solutions, has implemented FusionOps' Adaptive Materials Supply (AMS) Suite for use by all Suntron sites.

Suntron will use FusionOps' AMS solution in concert with its Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) and MAC-PAC systems to automate execution of material planning notices to improve supplier collaboration.

FusionOps said its AMS solution allows companies to automate buyer transactions, eliminate paper processes and increase buyer productivity. The solution keeps an account of all material planning notices, thus eliminating additional expenses of maintaining additional files and databases. It is also fully configurable based on simple business rules and is pre-integrated with major ERP systems.

"After reviewing other alternatives, Suntron selected FusionOps' AMS solution because it was best suited for Suntron's materials processes and diverse supply chain. FusionOps' AMS solution increased Suntron's purchasing team effectiveness and document traceability," said Suresh Chohan, Suntron's vice president, Corporate Materials.

FusionOps said its solution goes beyond electronic data interchange (EDI) and traditional supplier portals, enabling organizations to automatically increase the flow of materials end-to-end while reducing buyer/planner manual interventions. Also, the solution facilitates root-cause analysis and process improvements.
